Will a Stretch Tent Fit in Your Space? Flexible Anchoring Solutions for Any Venue

Stretch tents are renowned for their incredible adaptability, effortlessly transforming any space—no matter how tricky—into the perfect event venue. While we often secure these tents with traditional ground stakes, we have innovative alternatives when this isn’t possible. A favorite technique is drilling into the mortar between bricks on a house, building, or garden wall and installing removable M12 eyebolts. This method ensures a firm anchor without damaging the structure, and the drill holes can be easily filled with new mortar afterward. However, many people opt to leave the eyebolts in place, ensuring they’re ready for the next celebration!

When the ground is too hard or wall anchoring isn’t feasible, water ballast tanks are a versatile solution. These tanks, ranging from 150 litres to 650 litres, offer solid weight to keep your tent stable. But what if there’s no nearby water source to fill them? In those cases, we can bring in 1-ton concrete ballasts from an outside supplier, ensuring the tent is secured no matter the environment.

Nature also lends a hand in some setups. We often use nearby trees as anchor points, which not only provides a natural solution but also adds to the aesthetic of the event. Sometimes, we combine all these methods—stakes, eyebolts, ballast tanks, concrete blocks, and trees—creating a tailored solution that keeps your stretch tent firmly in place, no matter the space. This adaptability is what makes stretch tents so popular for any type of event!
